Job Description

Revolution Soccer Complex is a new state-of-the-art soccer venue that offers 5v5 and 7v7 leagues, field rentals, tournaments, corporate events, kids coaching, birthdays, and more. We have food trucks and a full bar providing food and beverage options for after you play or for spectators, while live sports play on the TV’s throughout. We are REVOLUTIONIZING the game by bringing together the latest technology to the field and providing a cleanfun and safe environment for players and their families.

The Academy Soccer Coach will have a strong background in soccer, as either a player or coach, a good understanding of player development in all phases, a strong desire to succeed, and the ability to execute soccer-related activities and lesson plans. The position is part-time (including evenings and weekends) and will entail 2-4 practices mid-week evenings and 1 game Saturday mornings. This position allows the opportunity to coach multiple sessions per week, therefore hours ranging from 3 hrs/week up to 12 hrs/week. There are opportunities for this position to grow into a head coach role as we further expand with more venues.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of the Academy curriculum and session plans for the program
  • Organization of players into their respective teams, based on age and ability, determined by delivering sessions
  • Attend all Coaching Education sessions, as agreed upon by the Academy Director
  • Player recruitment and retention within the program via Revolution Soccer Complex best practices
  • Be present at training sessions and league games at least 30 minutes prior to the start of any session to set up field for practical sessions
  • Remain at the field until the last departing player of the team is picked up or has left the facility
  • Maintain a professional manner at all times when representing the Academy
  • Wear the Academy uniform for any and all official Revolution events, such as training sessions, games, tournaments, outreach, etc.
  • Report all complaints to the Academy Director at the earliest opportunity
  • Conduct coaching sessions and outreach to grow the Academy program
  • Other duties as assigned by the Academy Director

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Soccer Coach / Teacher for a minimum of 2-3 years
  • Professional / college playing experience preferred but not essential
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability to work weekday evenings and weekend
