Job Description
LA Surf Soccer Club is looking for a highly motivated individual who is seeking a youth soccer coaching opportunity. Prior playing or coaching experience is required. The age ranges of players varies from U5-U16.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality training sessions tailored to the team’s needs and skill levels.
- Develop and implement game strategies and tactics.
- Monitor and evaluate players’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure a positive, safe, and competitive environment for all players.
- Collaborate with coaching staff and club management to align training with the club’s philosophy and objectives.
- Attend all team games, tournaments, and events, providing leadership and guidance during competitions.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club officials.
- Adhere to all club policies and guidelines, including those related to ethics and conduct.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a soccer coach, preferably in youth competitive leagues.
- Strong understanding of soccer techniques, tactics, and rules.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- A valid coaching certification (e.gUSSF, NSCAA) is preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- A background check is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in coaching.
