Elite Female Soccer Head Coach

Job Overview

ALBION SC Portland is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Coach for our competitive high school and middle school-aged girls’ club soccer team(s). The ideal candidate will possess coaching experience in competitive soccer, and a strong ability to develop players’ technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall athletic performance. This role requires a high level of commitment and the ability to mentor and lead a team of dedicated athletes competing at one of the highest levels of youth female soccer.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching:

Develop and implement training sessions focused on high-level technical and tactical development. Lead the team during matches, ensuring effective strategies and player performance.

Player Development:

Mentor players individually, tracking their growth and providing constructive feedback to enhance skills, decision-making, and leadership.

Communication & Collaboration:

Maintain clear communication with players, parents, and club administration, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

Mentorship & Recruitment:

Support players in their college recruitment process and provide guidance on reaching their athletic goals.

Qualifications

Licensing:

USSF “C” License or higher preferred.

Experience:

3-5+ years coaching elite youth, club, or academy; collegiate/pro playing experience preferred.

Player Development:

Strong technical, tactical, and mental coaching for high school/middle school girls; experience guiding players to college opportunities.

Leadership & Communication:

Effective team management, player feedback, and parent communication.

Commitment:

Available for training, games, and travel; aligns with ALBION SC philosophy.

Additional:

Familiar with video analysis, recruitment pathways, and background check clearance. EXPECTED HOURS: 8-12 hours a week.
