We’re currently hiring a Head Youth Girls Soccer Coach for our Under 13 team in the prestigious NorCal Premier League. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute age-appropriate training sessions to enhance players’ technical and tactical skills.
  • Cultivate a positive team culture emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual growth among female players.
  • Coordinate with parents, assistant coaches, and club officials to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Attend league meetings, manage travel logistics, and provide strategic guidance during matches.
  • Conduct regular player assessments and offer constructive feedback to support the development of female players.
  • Foster a safe and respectful environment prioritizing the well-being and development of female players.
  • Stay abreast of coaching methodologies, rules, and regulations pertinent to youth girls’ soccer and competitive travel teams.

Qualifications

  • USSF or equivalent coaching license, with a minimum of ‘C’ License, preferred.
  • Previous coaching experience, preferably with youth girls’ teams in competitive leagues or travel teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate female players.
  • Knowledge of player development principles and age-specific coaching techniques, particularly in youth girls’ soccer.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team of female athletes towards success on and off the field.

Registration Requirements

  • Must possess a relevant coaching license or be actively working towards certification.
  • Must complete a full FBI and DOJ clearance through Live Scan.
  • Must complete the 90-minute SafeSport online course.

Schedule

  • Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons.
  • Two 1 hour practices per week per team between 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm plus games on weekends.
