We are seeking a part-time enthusiastic soccer coach to join our Micro Academy team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children from ages 3-6 years old and be able to manage behavior effectively. This is a seasonal position (8 weeks).
Responsibilities
- Teach basic soccer skills through a variety of engaging activities
- Manage behavior effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment
- Create a fun and engaging environment for athletes to learn and play
- Effectively communicate with players, parents, and the program director
Experience
- Experience and/or knowledge of the game of soccer
- Soccer playing experience preferred
- Ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting
- Strong communication skills
- Candidate must be reliable and punctual
Requirements
- Hold or be able to obtain a Grassroots Coaching License
- Hold or be able to obtain SafeSport Training & Concussion Training
- Ability to pass a background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work 3/nights per week
- Attend Required Coaching Education
