Urban Soccer Park is seeking a skilled and motivated Operational Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Operational Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our innovative urban soccer parks to life in communities across the US. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming urban spaces into vibrant hubs for soccer enthusiasts of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the installation and assembly of Urban Soccer Park equipment and infrastructure at various locations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with installation and production managers to plan and execute installation projects efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct site assessments and measurements prior to installation to ensure proper placement and layout of soccer park components.
• Prepare and execute pre-build site preparation.
• Operate heavy machinery and tools, such as forklifts, drills, and saws, in a safe and proficient manner.
• Assist the installation team with the delivery and installation of artificial turf.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues or challenges that may arise during the process.
• Provide training and guidance to junior installation team members as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field, with a strong understanding of installation techniques and best practices.
• Previous experience with site prep is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as operating heavy machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Previous experience with artificial turf installation is preferred.
• Practical communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
• Passion for soccer and a desire to contribute to the growth of the sport in urban communities.
