Job Description
Albany-Berkeley Soccer Club is seeking a Scheduler. We are the oldest and largest youth soccer club in the East Bay, serving our community for over 45 years!
The Scheduler’s central role is to develop, assign and maintain the practice and game schedules for all of our teams for each season. They are responsible for maintaining team schedules by revising and updating them as necessary depending on circumstances including weather, daylight savings, and other last-minute changes.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with the registrars to coordinate scheduling games and practices.
- Working with the coaches and team managers to avoid game conflicts and to ensure coaches with two or more teams are scheduled efficiently.
- Working with the tournament coordinator to schedule games and field usage.
- Working with the Director of Coaching to schedule coaches.
- Obtaining field permits for the season as well as indoor space for our indoor soccer program.
- Adhering to maximum capacity limits as directed by the city.
- Coordinate with our affiliate clubs so they meet and exceed the guidelines set by ABSC to be successful.
- Applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Applicants must be organized, work independently and answer emails in a timely manner. Must be proficient in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties and the ability to use sound judgement and adhere to club policies and rules. Applicants with a knowledge of the game of soccer are preferred.
