Soccer Coach

Job Description

SoCal Youth Sports are looking for people passionate about sport, educating and engaging young children to deliver soccer classes for children aged 3-16.

Our mission is to enable all children regardless of socio-economic background, age, and ability to have access to a high-quality sporting experience when attending our classes. This not only means unrestricted access to classes but to professionally coach classes in a personalized atmosphere.

We are looking for people who can develop relationships quickly with children and have the children’s experiences at the center of their motivations for being involved in sport.

Classes are one hour long with coaches given an evidence-based framework that has been developed is based on the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) approach to teaching. The use of TGfU enables our core values to be elicited in every class we run.
