Job Overview

We are seeking a Soccer Trainer and Manager to oversee and lead a crucial part of our select soccer program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for soccer, have relevant soccer playing experience (preferably at a high level, College or Pro) as well as strong business development skills. The perfect job to be outdoors and work in the sport you love, while having opportunities to travel and be a crucial part in the development of young soccer players. We will also consider candidates that demonstrate a strong desire to learn the soccer business and be a fundamental part of our growth.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop players in Private 1on1 sessions, or small group settings.
• Provide feedback and plan of action for the athletes best results.
• Coach one or two Prodigy Select Teams that compete internationally
• Represent the brand and utilize best practices to substain brand standards are high
• Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the soccer program
• Manage aspects of the soccer team including player recruitment and planning training sessions
• Utilize sales and marketing techniques to increase program participation
• Lead project management initiatives related to soccer events and tournaments
• Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent communication and service

Qualifications

• High level playing experience College or Pro preferred
• Sports management or business management degree
• Strong strategic planning skills
• Excellent project management abilities
• Ability to lead and motivate coaching staff and players
• Must be able to stand and engage players actively for 3-5 hours for training sessions.
