Job Description
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Youth Soccer Academy Coaches. As a coach with Cruizers Academy, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young athletes while helping them reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Implement our comprehensive soccer curriculum designed to develop players’ technical abilities, tactical understanding, and character traits
- Conduct engaging and age-appropriate training sessions that focus on skill development, game understanding, and teamwork
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where players feel empowered to take risks and learn from mistakes
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to players, helping them set and achieve their individual goals
- Collaborate with other coaches to ensure consistency and continuity in training methodologies and player development
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff members to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all involved
- Serve as a positive role model to athletes and teach positive character and personality traits/social values
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Willingness to learn and follow our soccer curriculum is essential
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for working with youth athletes
- Empathetic and patient demeanor, with the ability to connect with players on a personal level and understand their individual needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey coaching instructions and provide constructive feedback
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth as a coach
- Must be able to pass a background check and any required certifications
Compensation
- Competitive $18 to $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications
