About Corte Madera FC

Corte Madera FC is a proud & competitive Youth Development Soccer Club with both boys and girls teams. We have a strong group of zone 1 teams from u7 through u12. We focus on player development, team camaraderie and compete at both local and regional level. For Zone 2, U13 , we collaborate with our neighboring clubs to form teams to compete with clubs from outside our immediate playing area. Our teams practice 2/3 days per week during the primary seasons. We employ both team coaches and specialist technical coaches within the club.

The successful candidate is able to coach 1-2 Corte Madera FC teams. This will include 2-4 practice days per week and weekend games. Saturday’s and Sunday’s consist of either league, state cup or tournament games. Traveling with the teams outside of Marin for tournament events is expected 2-4 times per year and coaches expenses are covered for these events. The successful candidate will also be required to help with administrative duties about one’s teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-level, consistent field sessions based on Corte Madera FC curriculum.
• Coach team games following the Corte Madera FC and Norcal Coaches Code of Conduct
• Administrative duties including but not limited to planning training sessions, email communication, player evals, etc.
• Attend internal coaching development sessions

Experience

• At least 2 years of youth soccer team coaching.
• D license required or resume demonstrating high level of coaching.
• Professional Development: Opportunity to add additional coaching licenses supported by Corte Madera FC during the term of employment.
