Youth Soccer Coach

Western Washington Surf is the most progressive youth soccer club on the Eastside. With 7 club locations spanning from Snohomish to Puyallup, Surf provides teams and training to players 5 to 19 years old, from beginners to Elite. The purpose of this job posting is to recruit Head Coaches that love the game, are ambitious with their education, and focus on the care, well-being, and development of their players above all else. Surf Coach Candidate Requirements

• 1+ Year of Coaching Experience
• USSF Grassroots Coaching License (or equivalent)
• Reliable Vehicle
• Currently living within 60 miles of a Surf club location
• Willing to work week nights and weekends
• Strong ability to work with Directors, Parents, and fellow Head Coaches to prioritize player safety, development, and enjoyment of the game
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong ability to communicate in dynamic and/or complicated scenarios
• Punctuality
• Strong work ethic

Surf Coach Compensation

Head Coaches are paid a monthly fee that covers training sessions, matches, and administrative work that is expected for club Head Coaches.

• Monthly Head Coach fees can range between $600-$1,500
• Per session rates for work outside of Head Coach responsibilities can range between $17.50-$40 per hour.

Surf Coach Benefits

• Receive Head Coach fees for 12 months out of the year while assigned to a Surf roster
• Set dates for paid vacation
• Full-time staff eligible for reimbursement for USSF Coaching Courses
• Additional benefits as qualified
