Youth Soccer Coach

Job Description

Albany Berkeley Soccer Club is seeking highly motivated Coaches! We are the oldest and largest youth soccer club in the East Bay.

Youth coaches are exceptional individuals with a passion for working with children. As mentor to a team of young soccer players ranging in age from 6- 15 years, coaches lead the next generation of soccer players to develop not only soccer technique & strategy, but also teamwork, leadership, self confidence, and good sportsmanship.

• Hours are Flexible
• Monday – Friday, Weekends
• 4:00pm – 5:30pm & 5:30pm – 7:00pm
• Must be able to work Saturday and/or Sunday games
• Must have transport to local Berkeley and Albany fields

Soccer knowledge is an advantage but an engaging and confident manner, and expertise in early childhood development and education, is highly regarded and key to success. Coaches must love working with children and act as a mentor and positive role model. Applicants must have excellent communication and time management skills, a basic knowledge of soccer (training is provided), and the ability to use sound judgement and adhere to club policies and rules.
